Anemones are the most rewarding addition to a clownfish reef — and the most likely to wander into a powerhead. Choose the right species for your tank.

Bubble Tip Anemone (BTA)

Easiest to keep. Tolerates moderate lighting. Will host most clownfish species. Min 30 gallons, 6+ months mature tank.

Long Tentacle Anemone

Sand-anchored. Needs deep sand bed. Hosts pink skunk and saddleback clowns.
